Die Indie-Rock Band "木与金 gilded forest" wurde Ende 2021 in der chinesischen Hauptstadt Beijing gegründet und brachte bereits im April 2022 ihr Debütalbum auf den Markt. Nur kurze Zeit später landeten sie auf der Liste der Top 30 Musiker:innen des #Wild Hunt New Voice# Programms, das von Chinas "Biede Records" und "Jägermeister" mitveranstaltet wird. Darüber hinaus konnte man ihre Lieder auch auf der "The Guardian’s Best Songs of 2022" Liste wiederfinden. Ihre Musik integriert freifließende Rhythmen der Folk-Musik in Klangräume pulsierender Synthesiser mit verzerrtem Gitarrensound - und verliert dabei nicht den Charakter einer Rock-Ballade.

2024 tourt 木与金 gilded forest durch Deutschland. Wir freuen uns, sie auch hier in Freiburg zu begrüßen!

The indie rock band "木与金 gilded forest" was founded in the Chinese capital Beijing at the end of 2021 and released their debut album in April 2022. Only a short time later, they landed on the list of the top 30 musicians of the #Wild Hunt New Voice# program, which is co-organized by China's "Biede Records" and "Jägermeister". In addition, her songs could also be found on The Guardian's Best Songs of 2022 list. Their music integrates free-flowing rhythms of folk music into soundscapes of pulsating synthesizers with distorted guitar sounds - without losing the character of a rock ballad.

木与金 gilded forest will be touring Germany in 2024. We look forward to welcoming them here in Freiburg!
